A nice foggy Summer day along the Western coast. Could be NorCal, Oregon, or Washington. The joy of descending over some coastal hills from a hot smoggy valley into a peaceful night of cool fog can’t be overstated, “heat dome” effects excluded which are a new thing. That ruined everything.
I like hot as hell weather, I love the lake to be like bath water. But what is love more is consistent hot weather even with passing clouds. None of this shit that keeps going on where one day is 80 and the next is 65, it’s summer so it’s supposed to be 75 and above everyday.

I really need to clean out my goldfish pond out front. Was going to do it in the next day or two but yesterday I got a cut across my foot above the heel while moving stuff around the shop. Decided I’m going to wait until that heals in some before I go putting my feet in that brackish warm water that’s getting full of algae (even though it does have a waterfall going into it the waterr is getting pretty funky. The filter desperately needs to be cleaned)! Hate it for the fish though.
BIG beach with not too many people. I saw some pictures from Italy and France where the “premium” beaches outside of hotels have small squares marked out, and each one came with an umbrella. Apparently you get use of one with your “premium” room or maybe can rent one.
I think that’s mostly for when the Influx of Northern tourists come in; we know they like order… I can’t imagine Italians really going for it. (I am a mix of Mediterranean and Northern so I get the conflict.)
@pmarin My experience traveling to Italy over the last 15 years is that most beaches are private and all of them with sand have neatly arranged chaise lounges with umbrellas. When you pay to use the beach, you get one of those spots for yourself. I haven’t seen the spots marked with a number or something like that, but I certainly haven’t looked close enough.
Low to mid 70s is my preference, but since Colorado summers are like the fiery depths of hell with occasional thunderstorms rolling through for relief, I voted stormy.
Filled with bicycles rides, good food and time to relax afterwards.

Winter
Idk. The past 13 weeks It’s rained on the weekends, So maybe no rain or humidity!
… one where you’re relaxing on the beach with three hands?!?
@Kyeh That must be the planet of the storied F-shirt meme.
@Kyeh I’ll gladly have a subservient hand giving me a freshly squeezed any day of the week.
@Kyeh @pakopako Ha! The joke’s on you!
This is Meh, so that’s not freshly-squeezed — it expired last week!
@Kyeh @pakopako maybe afraid to ask… a freshly squeezed what?
@Kyeh @pmarin looks like a melon
spent on the beach in the French Riviera.
Not too hot with some clouds.
Bright, dry, hot, but in the shade licking a bom-pop.

problem with bath temp lake water is it can harbor all sorts of nasty shit that can really mess you up.
@chienfou
I forget about that.

80 degrees, low humidity, sunny, slight breeze.
Just like today - clear and sunny, 75F, light breeze, Comfy chair in a shady spot, cold beverage at hand. Sweet…
@macromeh I concur 100%! 75 is the perfect temperature!
@ItalianScallion @macromeh That would be my choice as well.
